What a week!

So, here we are in another level 4 lockdown, not ideal but we survived it last time, we can do it again. It also means we finally have time to update the blog post!

Fortunately, much to the relief of all the brewers, attendees and event organisers of this years Beervana, the festival managed to sneak in just 4 days before Covid had a chance to ruin it for us all. Phew!

And we had a blast! As a first time exhibitor at New Zealand’s most well known beer fest, we were really well received and had some lovely feedback on our beers. A couple of them even making appearances on the leaderboard throughout the weekend. It was two very long and tiring days on their feet for Finney and Kayla but they did an awesome job and it was well worth the effort.

Another exciting thing that happened this week is we finally received resource consent for our bar build at Emporium! It’s been a long process but we are now good to go and fingers crossed (pending no more lockdowns!) we should have the bar up and running ready for this summer! That means that when you visit in the future you’ll actually be able to sit down and enjoy a beer on-site rather than just takeaways. Hurrah! Watch this space for updates as the build gets underway.
