Popping our Beervana cherry!

As a small South Island brewery we always said we’d probably never make the trip north to Beervana, the biggest and most well known craft beer festival in New Zealand. When you factor in the cost of getting over that very expensive stretch of water on top of all the other fees that come along with attending a beer festival it makes it quite a big financial decision. Will it be worth it? Will we even be noticed amongst the many bigger, well known breweries that always attract the crowds? Well, if we don’t try we’ll never know, so Wellington here we come!

We are going to be sharing a stand with our friends from Derelict Brewing another small South Island brewery but one with the massive claim of being rated #1 New Zealand brewery on Untappd! So, when the queue for their bar is inevitably too long just hop next door and get a beer from us first so you’ve something to drink while you wait!

Not to sell ourselves short though, we are planning some mightily tasty beers for you all from a range of classic styles right through to barrel aged sours and imperial stouts. We are sure to have some one-off festival only beers too, so make sure you come and check us out if you are heading to Beervana this year. We’ll see you there!
